Fiasconaro brings a familiar Sicilian name to the Christmas table. This hand-wrapped 500g panettone is an easy choice for a small gift or a few slices shared over coffee.
Among the candied orange, the raisins carry a Sicilian touch: they’re flavoured with Marsala DOP and Zibibbo Liquoroso IGP wines, adding character to the traditional recipe.
It started with Mario Fiasconaro’s small ice-cream shop in Castelbuono in 1953. His sons continued the family story, with pastry chef Nicola bringing Sicily’s flavours into the Italian panettone tradition.
Cut a slice to enjoy with coffee, or serve it after dinner with a little Marsala. If there’s some left the next morning, try it lightly toasted.
